As of January 11, 2024 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on January 16, 2024. The City of Lakeway, Texas is requesting sealed written Bids for furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and incidentals, and for performing all Work required for the Culvert Replacements at Lakeway Drive and Top O the Lake Drive project, to include, in part: Improvements include the removal of existing metal pipe culverts and replacing with concrete boxes and associated headwalls and wingwalls; roadway pavement replacement and widening, guardrail replacement and the addition sidewalk on the east side of the roadway. Contractor awarded the project shall be required to furnish an acceptable Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. The bonds shall be issued by a solvent corporate surety company authorized to do business in the State of Texas and shall meet any other requirements established by law or by the City pursuant to applicable law. A Maintenance Bond will be required in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the contract price and is to remain in force for a period of one-year from the contractual warranty period, and date of the letter of final conditional acceptance from the City of Lakeway. Contract Time is of the essence and all Base Bid Work shall be completed within one-hundred fifty (150) working days after the date specified in the Notice to Proceed, in accordance with the Bid Form, Section 00300U. Liquidated damages are $1,000 per Calendar Day for failure to complete the work within the allotted time.
