Scope Question Deadline 03/19/2024 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer via the Q & A portal Please submit questions for this project no later than 72 hours prior to bid opening through Electronic Construct approximately 550 linear feet of 5 feet wide concrete walking trail, approximately 170 linear feet of mortared stone drainage channel along, and associated improvements along The Hills Drive, between Club Estates Parkway and the existing box culvert bridge located approximately 450 linear feet west of Luna Vista Drive. The walking trail is expected to cross driveways, and it is assumed that the Village will secure any construction encroachment agreements, if needed, for reconstruction of the driveways to accommodate TAS-compliant cross-slopes. A CERTIFIED CHECK or an acceptable bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid shall accompany each bid as a guaranty that, if awarded the contract, the bidder will promptly enter into contract with Village of The Hills and furnish bonds on the forms provided THE SUCCESSFUL BIDDER OR BIDDERS will be required to furnish a Performance Bond, Payment Bond, and Maintenance Bond as stipulated in the specifications. BIDDERS are expected to inspect the site of the work and to inform themselves of all local conditions. Time of completion shall be 60 calendar days including Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays NO BID may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least ninety (90) calendar days. THE CITY reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids, waive any and/or all formalities, and award the bid as it appears most beneficial to Village of The Hills.
