The City of Lakeway is seeking a qualified Contractor who shall provide all labor, permits, materials, machinery, tools, supplies, equipment, supervision, and incidentals necessary to perform the construction of the Court Clerks Office area and restrooms renovation. The scope of work includes all work associated with demolishing the existing court clerk area and re-constructing this area with the layout depicted on the construction documents. The contractor is to provide all furniture and accessories as shown on the drawings. Complete installation and addition of a new exterior stair case as shown on the drawings. Complete installation of a new window on the first floor. There is an alternate bid as part of this project which is defined in specification 012300. The scope of work for alternate no. 1 includes all work associated with demolishing the existing restrooms and re-constructing them in a different layout on the first floor and removal and replacement of plumbing fixtures on the second floor. The work must include the demolition and removal of existing partitions and fixtures. Saw cutting the existing slab as required to relocate sanitary and water lines. New pipe installation, patching of concrete, installation of new plumbing fixtures, mirrors and accessories, new interior finishes, new paint, new ceiling tiles and new lights. The work must also include new HVAC duct work as shown on the plans.
