Site work for a water / sewer project in Loachapoka, Alabama. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Items of work are as follows: CONTRACT LWA4-22 Test Holes/Test Wells: Conduct a ground water survey in various rock formations by constructing two (2) test holes and up to two (2) test wells. A Bid Bond of 5% is required to bid on this project. Any Bidders or Non-Bidder, upon returning the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents promptly and in good condition, will be refunded a part of his deposit. All Bidders must comply with the requirements of the Contractor's Licensing Law of the State of Alabama, the Alabama Bid Law, and must be certified for the type of work on which a proposal is submitted. Proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or Certified Check for not less than 5% of the amount of the Proposal. A Performance Bond and Payment Bond in an amount equal to the Contract price will be required of each successful Bidder. The Contract Insurance requirements are strict and compliance is required. Bidders must comply with Executive Order No. 11246, as amended, including specific provisions of the Equal Opportunity Clause set forth in the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all Proposals or Bids. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within thirty (30) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Each Bidder must comply with the Conditions set forth in the Information for Bidders and otherwise required by the CONTRACT DOCUMENTS.
