Water sampling, testing, cleaning, repair, replacement, writing and submitting reports for the County owned potable and fire suppression water treatment equipment at designated locations. The Contractor will provide all necessary labor, materials, hardware, equipment, office supplies, log books, supervision, and permits necessary to complete the work specified in the scope of services. The Contractor will provide all required services including but not limited to; required visitations, sampling, water tests, chlorinator cleaning, chemicals, report writing and submission, maintenance, repair and replacement of water treatment equipment including hardware and rental expenses as necessary. The Contractor will sample and test water, which is part of the required visitations, at designated County locations in accordance with standards established by all authorities having jurisdiction. Develop and submit reports in accordance with all laws, rules, guidelines, and requirements established by all authorities having jurisdiction. Submit reports to all authorities having jurisdiction and to designated County staff at FMreports@seminolecountyfl.gov. Report for the Osceola Landfill shall be emailed to SWcompliance@seminolecountyfl.gov in addition to FMreports@seminolecountyfl.gov. Required tests will include, but not limited to, chlorine residual, Ph, flow calculations, pressure readings, air volume and check hydronumeric tank. Potable water tanks and fire suppression water holding tanks are to be re-inspected every five (5) years. Fire suppression water holding tanks require the vendor to hire a fire suppression contractor to inspect and certify these tanks. The cost to hire the fire suppression contractor will be at cost to the County. The Contractor will keep designated County staff informed of changes in laws, rules, guidelines, and requirements that could impact the scope of this agreement. The Contractor will clean, maintain, repair, and replace when necessary County owned potable water treatment equipment at designated locations. Question Submission Deadline: November 24, 2023, 10:00am All Bidders should carefully examine the IFB documents. Any ambiguities or inconsistencies shall be brought to the attention of PCD Contact Person in writing via the Q&A tab in the COUNTY'S e-Procurement Portal prior to the scheduled due date and time for submission.
