CANON CITY SEAT BASE RETARDANT TANK CLEANOUT This solicitation amendment, 005, is to answer additional questions that were received. Please see the attached question and answer document. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for removal and disposal in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations. of approximately 2500 gallons of mixed retardant, plus cleanout of the tank. Product is mostly liquid, but with some sludge expected in the bottom of 3000-gallon capacity poly tank. Cleanout of 8000-gallon capacity metal tank and removal and disposal of liquid concentrate remainder/sludge from bottom of tank. Estimate of approximately 500-1000 gallons of sludge plus additional water needed for removal/cleanout. Place of Performance: Fremont County Airport, 60298 US-50, Canon City, CO Basic Contracting Requirements:

8. Award of this contract will be on a Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) basis looking at the following factors. a. Technical Response: Include a description of your technical approach, safety plan, certificates and qualifications, expected timeframe to complete the project, equipment, supervision and personnel. Include a description of experience in performing jobs of similar scope. A proposal will be considered technically acceptable if the vendor shows they have recent and relevant experience with similar types of projects, proper equipment, necessary personnel, certificates and qualifications, resources and equipment and ability to safely and effectively complete the project within the allotted timeframe. Technical factors will be assessed as acceptable or non-acceptable. b. Price: Among the technical responses assessed as acceptable, the award will be made to the lowest price.
