City of Forney - Forney Community Park Field Improvements The City of Forney is constructing multipurpose athletic fields at Forney Community Park consisting of demolition, earthwork, vehicular concrete paving, pedestrian concrete paving, utilities, storm drainage, prefabricated pavilion, decomposed granite paving, concrete mow edge, chain link fence, split rail fence, segmental retaining wall, limestone quarry block, sports lighting, site amenities, landscape, turfgrass, soil amendments, and irrigation. Bidders are required to provide all materials, equipment, and labor required for the construction of the project along with a Payment, Performance, and A 2-year Maintenance Bond in the amount of the Contract. The effective date of the maintenance period will commence upon the date of project acceptance by the City of Forney City Council. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish not only a performance bond in the amount of the Contract but also a payment bond for the protection of all claimants supplying labor and materials.
