This Invitation for Bid (IFB) is being issued to establish a term contract to provide janitorial services on an as-needed basis. This contract will be for labor only and does not include materials, supplies or equipment. The primary user of this contract will be the Hanover County Public Schools but the contract may be used by other County departments. Facilities where work will be performed shall consist of, but not be limited to, office buildings, equipment storage buildings, cafeteria and kitchen sites, equipment shops, and material storage buildings. Any contract resulting from this IFB shall not be exclusive to the successful Contractor. Location Where Service Hanover County, Virginia Will be Provided: Various Locations Period of Contract: From Date of Award through December 31, 2024 The County reserves the right to cancel and terminate any resulting contract, in part or in whole, without penalty, upon sixty (60) days written notice to the Contractor. In the event the initial contract period is for more than twelve (12) months, the resulting contract may be terminated by either party, without penalty, after the initial twelve (12) months of the contract period upon sixty (60) days written notice to the other party. Any contract cancellation notice shall not relieve the Contractor of the obligation to deliver and/or perform on all outstanding orders issued prior to the effective date of cancellation
