Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Loxahatchee Groves, Florida. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
The Project consists of the design and construction of a new and easily accessible, permanent, Flight Operations Facility (FOF), located at the SW intersection of Southern Boulevard and Flying Cow Road in Wellington, Florida. It includes a helipad, associated helicopter parking area for three (3) South Florida Water Management District (SFWMD) helicopters; maintenance, storage, and office facilities for two (2) mechanics and four (4) pilots. In addition, the proposed facility will be equipped with an above ground fuel tank for the helicopters' fueling service.
