Site work for a transportation facility in Eloy, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
This project includes two bid schedules. Schedule I (Base Bid) involves the construction of a new drainage channel on the south side of the airfield. Schedule II (Additive Alternate Bid) involves constructing isolated repairs to an existing earthen drainage channel along the eastern side of the airfield. The intent of the work associated with Schedule I (Base Bid) is to protect existing and future infrastructure by addressing drainage issues associated with offsite run-off. The intent of the work associated with Schedule II (Additive Alternate Bid) is to repair eroded soils and construct new erosion protection along existing channel slopes. Bids will be received for a single prime contract. The prime contract will be awarded to the lowest overall bidder for either Schedule I (Base Bid) or both Schedule I (Base Bid) and Schedule II (Additive Alternate Bid). Bids shall be on a unit price basis as indicated on the bid proposal sheets. This project is being funded by a combination of funds from the Arizona Department of Transportation and the City of Eloy.
