Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
This project generally consists of replacement of a pedestrian bridge and paved park path and associated grading and restoration located in Nixon Park. Bid security, as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code, in the amount of FIVE percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid. The successful bidder shall be required to provide performance and payment bonds, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price. Contract Time Information Early Start Date: June 10, 2024 Final Completion: September 20, 2024 The City Council of the City of Cedar Rapids reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities and technicalities, and to enter such contracts as it deems in the best interest of the City.
