The Housing Authority of Plainfield is requesting proposals from qualified and certified elevator companies to service and maintain the operations of four (4) elevators on a 24-hour and 7 days base for the twelve story-high rise senior buildings. The response time from the elevator company shall not exceed 24 hours from the calls of the Authority. The services include but are not limited to the regular elevator maintenance services and the emergency services calls from the management of the Authority. The annual services including monthly maintenance of elevators and the emergency services shall not exceed $50,000 per year. Additional services beyond the scope of the outlined services needs to be approved beforehand. Interested companies shall submit monthly proposed services fees to the Authority accompanied by the certificate of insurance and three work-related references. The service tickets/reports shall be forwarded to the Authority indicating time, date and cause of the services after each site visit by the elevator servicing company. The proposal shall include a monthly services fee, the current certificate of liability and workers compensation liability insurance are required to include in the proposal package.
