The headworks of the facility consist of screening and grit removal. Screening is necessary due to the amount of trash and inorganic material of incoming raw wastewater. This material must be removed prior to the biological process. This is accomplished by a mechanical bar-screen. The existing bar-screen is 20+ years in operation, worn out, and in need of replacement. Vendor shall provide an applicable replacement based on specifications. Bar-screen must be constructed (all components) of 316 stainless steel. Screen angle: 60 - 80 1/4 inch (6mm) bar spacing Ability to discharge 57" above top of channel to owner-provided receiving bin Control panels NEMA 4X, stainless steel All components (timers, float switches, HOA switch) necessary for manual/automatic operation Factory start-up and training services consisting of one (1) trip totaling two (2) days onsite. Spare parts as necessary Full 1-year warranty (minimum) from date of operational start-up.
