The Highbury Avenue Widening construction project will commence in the spring of 2024. The project will require strategic phasing to allow for continuous access to the industrial site from Highbury Ave. Strict, non-negotiable deadlines will also need to be achieved. The Corporation of the City of St. Thomas (the City) is issuing this Request for Pre-Qualification (RFPQ) to solicit responses from interested, qualified, contractors (Respondents) who are capable of undertaking the project. This is the first stage in a two-stage process. It is anticipated that a request for tender will be issued within 180 days after the closing time of this RFPQ. The City's intent is to pre-qualify civil construction companies, who will ultimately be invited to bid on the Highbury Avenue Widening construction project in 2024.
