Site work, new construction and renovation of a civil project in St Thomas, Ontario. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; for the construction of a 3,000-square-foot, one-story above grade water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
The South Edgeware Booster Station construction project will commence in the spring of 2024. The project will take place next to the existing Elgin-Middlesex Pumping Station (EMPS), which must remain operational and accessible at all times. Strategic coordination between surrounding internal and external construction projects will also be required to achieve project success. Strict, non-negotiable deadlines will also need to be achieved. In order to achieve the required increased water pressure, the City will be undertaking the construction of a new water booster station under the South Edgeware Booster Station project. The South Edgeware Booster Station construction project will consist of constructing a new water booster station in a concrete building complete with water pumps, valves, large diameter watermain, and monitoring systems. This work will also include the installation sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and all related site servicing work. Documents can be obtained at https://stthomas.bidsandtenders.ca/
