Site work for a water / sewer project in Cape May, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Project work generally consists of, but is not limited to, the removal of approximately 40,000 cubic yards of material from the berths of the Cape May Terminal in Cape May, New Jersey. The berth areas will be required to be dredged to an elevation of -12.0 feet from Mean Low Water ("MLW") and shall allow for one (1) foot of payable over-depth to insure the achievement of the project depth. Dredging shall be performed by a hydraulic dredge. No clamshell or hopper dredging will be permitted. Dredge material shall be pumped into the adjacent DRBA disposal site located directly to the east of the Ferry Terminal in Cape May, New Jersey. All dredging shall be performed under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers ("USACE") and State of New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection ("NJDEP") permits. The permits will be provided at a later date.
