DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The work comprises the furnishing of all materials, equipment, tools, labor and incidentals as required by the Plans, Specifications and Contract Documents for the above stated project. The general items of work to be performed hereunder consist of, but is not limited to, the remodel and tenant improvements to 205 S Euclid Street and 106 E First Ave as indicated on the project drawings and specifications. The work to be performed shall include, but not be limited to, the items described on all plans and in the specifications including, but not limited to, site demolition, building demolition, new site improvements as shown on the drawings, the renovation of the building exterior, new building improvements as shown on the drawings, and new electrical, mechanical, plumbing, fire/security alarm, and all other systems as shown on the drawings or included in the specifications (including all appendices). All work shall include furnishing labor, services, tools, equipment, materials, appurtenances and incidentals necessary to install and complete the work contemplated per the plans and specifications. Work also includes mobilization, preparation, and implementation of best management practices. AWARD OF CONTRACT: The City of La Habra reserves the right, after opening the bids, to reject any or all bids, waive any informality or irregularity in such bids, or to award to the lowest responsible bidder and reject all other bids. ADDRESS AND MARKING OF PROPOSAL: The envelope enclosing the proposal shall be sealed and addressed to the City Clerk and hand delivered to the City Clerk at the Civic Center, 110 E. The envelope shall be plainly marked in the upper left-hand corner with the name and address of the bidder and shall bear the words "Proposal For" followed by the title of the specifications for the work, and the date and hour of opening bids.
