Dane County is inviting Bids for construction services to modernize a passenger traction elevator, controls, and driving machines and fixtures. Question Deadline 12/05/2023 at 2:00 PM CT Bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or conflicts to Owner & Architect, Engineer or Consultant's attention Bank certified check, cashiers check or Bid Bond, payable to County in amount not less than five percent (5%) of maximum bid, shall accompany each Bid as guarantee that if Bid is accepted, Bidder will execute and return proposed Contract and Performance and Payment Bond within ten (10) business days after being notified of acceptance of Bid. Company issuing bonds must be licensed to do business in Wisconsin. Bidders shall bring inadequacies, omissions or conflicts to Owner & Architect, Engineer or Consultant's attention Emerging Small Business (ESB) Goal. The goal of this project is ten percent (10%) ESB participation. ESBs utilizations are shown as a percentage of the total Bid. B. Emerging Small Business Involvement. Bidder shall make good faith effort to award minimum of ten percent (10%) of the Work to ESBs. Good faith effort means significant contact with ESBs for purposes of soliciting bids from them. Failure to make or demonstrate good faith efforts will be grounds for disqualification. Perform the Work as specified and detailed in Construction Documents package.
