Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Boca Raton, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.
The project involves uncovering, evaluating and addressing the structural weaknesses of steel columns (approx. 63) surrounding the Sugar Sand Park Community Center. A full description of the work is included in the specifications and drawings sections of this RFP. Repairs to Existing Tube Steel Columns That Support the Roof Structure Over The Covered Outdoor Spaces That Have Deteriorated Where They Interface With The Existing Paver Deck. The Contractor Will Investigate Damage to Each of the 63 Columns and Shall Provide Corrective Measures to Repair the Damage in Accordance With These Documents. The proposer agrees that if awarded the contract, he/she will submit a contract performance surety bond and labor and materials payment bond satisfactory to the Greater Boca Raton Beach & Park District each equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount. The District reserves the right to award the entirety of work to one contractor or to award multiple contractors different components of the work
