The work consists of correcting the facades and improving water management in order to preserve the integrity of the facades of the Guy-Favreau Complex in Montreal, QC. More specifically, the work includes: Corrective work on the masonry cladding of clay bricks such as brick replacement, repointing, efflorescence cleaning. Corrective work on the storey angles exposing the masonry. Corrective work on the sealing joints. Corrective work on the top of the masonry siding walls. Corrective work on the crown flashings under the parapet copings. Corrective work on aluminum window sills. Corrective work on flashings at the head of deformed curtain walls causing water retention. Corrective work on the seals of the anodized aluminum metal cladding as well as the pre-painted steel cladding. Corrective work on corroded painted steel doors and frames. Corrective work on the skylight/gazebo in the interior courtyard (flashing, sealing, decorative sconces). Corrective and cleaning work on curtain walls. Replacement work on damaged and/or unsealed triple glass units. The restoration of the "CANADA" signs, including the components of the Canadian flag. The replacement of deficient interior window beading. The reinstallation of the lighting fixtures of the "CANADA" signs. Corrective work on concrete structures at the lean-to and other structures covered by the structural plans and specifications.
