Service Start : 11/6/2023 Service End : 12/31/2028 Changed end date from 12/1/25 to 12/31/28 The State of Colorado, Department of Corrections (CDOC), is seeking qualified and experienced firms to provide on-call energy engineering services for a term of 1 year, with the option of up to 4 renewal periods. The objective of this engagement is to collaborate with a knowledgeable partner to enhance CDOC's energy efficiency efforts and ensure compliance with the Colorado Benchmarking Bill and the Governor's Greening Government Executive Order. The selected firm will be responsible for a range of tasks, including but not limited to: Review and Analysis: Thoroughly review and analyze the Department's energy consumption data across CDOC's facilities to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for energy conservation. Energy Conservation Projects: Develop comprehensive energy conservation projects, including feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and implementation strategies to reduce energy consumption and improve overall efficiency. Compliance: Assist CDOC in adhering to the requirements of the Colorado Benchmarking Bill, which mandates reporting of energy usage in commercial and multi-family buildings, and the Governor's Greening Government Executive Order, which emphasizes sustainability and energy reduction in state operations. Expert Consultation: Provide expert consultation and guidance on best practices, technology upgrades, and innovative solutions to achieve energy savings and sustainability goals.
