THE STATE OF COLORADO, DEPARTMENT OF CORRECTIONS (CDOC), IS SOLICITING THE SUBMITTAL OF QUALIFICATIONS FROM FIRMS TO PROVIDE LANDSCAPE ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES FOR A FIVE-YEAR PERIOD. Service Start : 11/6/2023
Service End : 12/31/2028 Professional services include:
A five-year On-Call selection for up to three firms to provide landscape architecture firms to assess current conditions and design Xeriscape landscape environments in a correctional environment for DOC facilities state-wide.
o Conduct site assessments at each of the nineteen (19) correctional facilities throughout the state.
o Develop detailed Xeriscape landscape design plans tailored to each facility's unique characteristics, microclimates, and security enhancement requirements.
o Provide recommendations for plant selection, irrigation systems, soil improvement, and maintenance practices to ensure long-term sustainability.
o Collaborate with relevant stakeholders, including facility physical plant managers and Facility Management Services (FMS), to gather input and address specific needs.
o Present design proposals in a clear and comprehensible manner as well as a statement of probable cost for each solution.
