Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Niagara Falls, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field.

1. Removal of all pitched asphalt shingle roofs. Removal of all ornamental trim and gutters for re-installation as part of scope of work. 2. Inspect of roof deck. 3. Replacement of up to 200 SF of sheathing to be included as part of proposal to match existing sheathing thickness. 4. Furnish a nd install new complete architectural asphalt shingle roof and ice & water shield underlayment per specifications. Clean and install of all ornamental lead trim and gutters. Contract term: 180 days 1. Demolition and removal of existing asphalt shingle roof with all demolition material to be disposed of off-site. 2. Restoration of surfaces. 3. Salvage of existing items to be reused. 4. All demolition operations shall be in accordance with the Fire Code of New York State in terms of fire safety during construction, and temporary heating appliances. All demolition operations shall also be in accordance with all pertinent OSHA regulations. 1.2 DEFINITIONS A. Remove: Detach items from existing construction and dispose of them off-site unless indicated to be salvaged or reinstalled. B. Remove and Salvage: Detach items from existing construction, in a manner to prevent damage, and deliver to Owner ready for reuse. C. Remove and Reinstall: Detach items from existing construction, in a manner to prevent damage, prepare for reuse, and reinstall where indicated. D. Existing to Remain: Leave existing items that are not to be removed and that are not otherwise indicated to be salvaged or reinstalled. 1.3 MATERIALS OWNERSHIP A. Unless otherwise indicated, demolition waste becomes property of Contractor. B. Historic items, relics, antiques, and similar objects including, but not limited to, cornerstones and their contents, commemorative plaques and tablets, and other items of interest or value to Owner that may be uncovered during demolition remain the property of Owner. 1. Carefully salvage all exposed metal trim for re-installation in a manner to prevent damage. 1. Removal of all pitched asphalt shingle roofs. Removal of all ornamental trim and gutters for re-installation as part of scope of work. 2. Inspection of roof deck. 3. Replacement of up to 200 SF of sheathing to be included as part of proposal to match existing sheathing thickness. Provide price for any additional replacement of sheathing if necessary. 4. Furnish and install new complete architectural asphalt shingle roof and ice & water shield underlayment per specifications. Clean and install of all ornamental lead trim and gutters. A test clean shall be performed prior to all trim being cleaned for acceptance by NYSOPRHP. Any and all areas of building disturbed by the Contractor shall be restored to their preconstruction condition or better. All areas of landscaping and flat roofs to be protected during construction.
