Galveston County is seeking to purchase three (3) diesel-driven engines and installation at the South Texas City Pump Station. The replacement engines shall meet all current technical specifications per the USACE Operation and Maintenance Manual for South Texas City Pumping Station. Respondents shall provide an engine type, any needed additional parts, and installation that will be capable of addressing the required services shown in the Scope of Work. The net price shall be delivered to Galveston County, including all freight, shipping, and license fees. Galveston County is tax exempt, and no taxes should be included in proposal pricing. Successful bidder, before beginning work ,shall execute a performance bond and a payment bond, each of which must be in the amount of the contract. The required payment and performance bonds must each be executed by a corporate surety in accordance with Section 1, Chapter 87, Acts of the56th Legislature, Regular Session, 1959 (Article7.19-1, Vernon s Texas Insurance Code). The Galveston County Commissioners Court reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any and all bids and to accept the bid or bids which, in its opinion, is most advantageous to Galveston County with total respect the governing laws.
