Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sappington, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The Scope of Work consists of the mill and overlay of West Watson Road along with approximately 3500 of new 10 wide asphalt shared-use, approximately 1700 of new 5 ft. wide concrete sidewalk, and a 70 long, 10 wide, prefabricated steel truss pedestrian bridge. ADA curb ramps, striping, traffic control, and other items shall be included as shown in the plans. Any questions received after this time cannot be answered. The City of Sunset Hills reserves the right to reject any or all bids. The DBE goal for this project is 11% A bid security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid in accordance with the Bidders Checklist. If the bid is accepted, the bidder agrees that work shall be diligent prosecuted at such rate and in such manner as, in the judgment of the engineer, is necessary for the completion of the work within the time specified as follows in accordance with See 108: Completion Date: August 16, 2024 The bidder agrees that, should the bidder fail to complete the work in time specified at such additional time as may be allowed by the engineer under the contract, the amount of liquidated damages to be recovered in accordance with Sec 108 shall be as follows: Liquidated damages per day $ 1,100
