Site work for a playground / park / athletic field in Olympia, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
This project provides for demolition of the existing Field 2 backstop, dugout, hardscaping, irrigation, and removal of trees around the field's perimeter. A new 30-foot tall backstop system, dugouts, benches, and hardscaping will be installed. The existing baseball field will be stripped and regraded. A new Field 2 irrigation system will be installed, all in accordance with the Contract Documents. The Engineer's Probable Opinion of Cost is $581,593. The City of Olympia reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive minor irregularities in the bidding process. All bids must be submitted on the forms furnished for that purpose, and each proposal must be accompanied by bid bond, or certified check made payable to the City of Olympia, in an amount of not less than five percent of the total bid amount. Any questions regarding the contract documents can be directed to Neal Glassburn, Project Manager at nglassbu@ci.olympia.wa.us. If necessary, questions will be answered via an addendum.
