Site work and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Nanaimo, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”), as may be amended from time to time by Addenda is an invitation by the City to prospective and qualified Proponents to submit proposals for the Commercial Street Improvements – Wharf to Church Streets project. The construction generally consists of: Watermain replacement; Extensive surface works including concrete gutter, concrete sidewalk, concrete and asphalt roadworks, concrete pavers on concrete base, retractable and stationary bollards, traffic signs, street markings, and a thermoplastic intersection mural; Extensive electrical works including streetlights, catenary poles, a 200A service kiosk, lighting, and electrical receptacles; Extensive landscaping works including subsurface structural soil cells, irrigation systems, storm water distribution and overflow collection systems including catchbasins, reinforced concrete planters, planting of trees and shrubs, landscape maintenance, and a variety of street furnishings.
