Site work for a road / highway in Maidstone, Saskatchewan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
SaskPower is seeking replacement of approximately 3 km of the N2L-MAD 138kV transmission line. The structure replacements will consist of direct embed 138kV single circuit wood H-frame structures utilizing the existing single Penguin conductor. Structure replacements are required from structure #1 to #13. Two (2) new 5/16" overhead shield wires will be strung, replacing the existing single shield wire. New marker balls will be installed over the Highway 16 crossing. Refer to Table 1-Structure Types for the exact structure types and number of structures. For the line route, structure locations, structure Drawings, conductor types, shield wire requirements and other design materials please refer to the attached design Drawings. Structure types and structure locations may be adjusted/changed based on final design. The Project coordinate system shall be UTM, zone 13 extended. The Contractor is responsible for providing a detailed construction plan to ensure achievement of the Construction Completion date. The new line will be constructed near Maidstone in the land location 28-47-23 W3 and 33-47-23 W3.
