The R.M. of Eldon No. 471 is accepting sealed tenders for gravel crushing and stockpiling to be completed on or before June 15, 2024. We require: -10,000 cubic yards of 3/4" gravel and 15,000 cubic yards of 1 1/4" gravel in a pit located at NW 22-50-24-W3; -10,000 cubic yards of 3/4" gravel and 15,000 cubic yards of 1 1/4" gravel in a pit located at NE 6-47-24-W3; -10,000 cubic yards of chip seal product in a pit located at NW 22-50-24-W3 -Minimum 24" crusher jaw -The contractor to provide daily quality control sieve results performed by a qualified materials testing agency to ensure that the gravel is meeting the specified gradation. See attached charts for gradation details -Elimination sand required to be consolidated in piles as directed by the municipal Foreman -Use of telestacker -First crush must occur at NW 22-50-24-W3 Each tender shall include the following information: -Total bid price with a separate breakdown of all costs associated with your total crushing price including: -Cost of crushing Type 106 (3/4" gravel) -Cost of crushing Type 103 (1 1/4 gravel) -Cost of crushing Type 95 (chip seal product) -Elimination Sand (reject material) -Daily sieve analysis -Mobilization (if applicable) -Sieve analysis, applicable taxes, and any other charges must be listed separately but must be included in the total bid price. -a copy of letter of good standing with Sask. WCB; -a list of equipment/machinery that will be used and insurance coverage for the equipment/machinery; -crush to the municipality's specifications. For 3/4 " gravel, the municipality specification is Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure gradation Type 106. For 1 1/4 " gravel, the municipality specification is Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure gradation Type 103. For chip seal product, the municipality specification is Saskatchewan Ministry of Highways and Infrastructure gradation Type 95. Specifications may be changed by the R.M. of Eldon No. 471 during crushing depending on amount of fines in sieve results; -nine copies of the bid details and any additional information The R.M. of Eldon No. 471 will select and hire a 3rd party to measure the piles after gravel is crushed and pay based on cubic yards measured by the 3rd party only.
