The standard primarily uses Corten steel posts, aluminum faces, mask and spray graphics, digital printing, and wood elements. The City of Traverse City reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and to accept the bids either on an entire or individual basis that is in the best interest of the City. The City accepts no responsibility for any expense incurred by the Bidder in the preparation and presentation of a bid. Such expenses shall be borne exclusively by the Bidder. Failure of the successful Bidder to supply the required bonds within fifteen (15) days after award of contract, or within such extended period as the City may agree to, shall constitute a default and the City may either award this contract to the next most qualified Bidder, or begin a new bidding process. 1. Performance Bond - A performance bond shall be furnished in the full amount of the contract ensuring the City of faithful performance of all the provisions of the contract, and the satisfactory performance of any equipment required hereunder.
