A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and other miscellaneous items to plane 26,963 square yards of road surfaces and overlay with 4,450 tons of HMA; remove existing pavement; remove and replace cement concrete curb and gutter; install pavement markings; perform traffic control; and other miscellaneous items necessary to complete this project. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in a cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Ellensburg. The engineer's range for the project is $900,000 to $1,250,000. The City of Ellensburg, Washington, reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularities or informalities in the bid or in the bidding. Responsibility and competency of bidders and their subcontractors will be considered in making the award. All documents received in response to this invitation to bid will become a matter of public record subject to the Washington public disclosure act under chapter 42.56 RCW.
