Project awarded to Tucci & Sons, Inc. in the amount of $1,188,916.20 This project shall consist of: furnishing all labor, tools, materials, and equipment necessary for construction of the Covington Connector - Lakepointe Blvd project. Specific work includes, but is not limited to, installation of approximately 1,615 lineal feet of arterial improvements including concrete curb, gutter, sidewalk and driveways; bike lanes; landscaping; traffic signage; pavement markings; adjusting existing storm, water, and dry utility features to finish grade, coordination for installation of illumination by PSE, and other work as shown in the Plans. The estimated cost of this project, for all bid schedules, is in the range of $2,000,000 to $3,000,000. The City anticipates awarding this project to the successful bidder and executing the Contract and all required documents in full. The City will delay Notice to Proceed for this project until the installation of storm, water, and dry utilities in the same location has been completed by private development. It is anticipated that Notice to Proceed will occur between July 1, 2024 and September 30, 2024. Regardless of the date of award or Notice to Proceed, the Contractor must complete all work within 75 working days. Questions must be received by the City no later than 5:00 p.m. on December 19, 2023. A written reply to reach all prospective Bidders will be provided on or before December 22, 2023. All bids and this Project shall be governed by the Contract, as defined by the Washington State Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction 2024 edition (Standard Specifications), unless otherwise noted, which is incorporated by this reference as though set forth in full. All bid proposals shall be in accordance with the Contract and all bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid deposit or bond in the amount required in the Contract. Forfeiture of the proposal bond or deposit to the City shall be in accordance with the Contract.
