Site work for a civil project in Concord, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
As og January 26, 2024 this project was awarded to Helix Grading & Utility, LLC with the awarded amount of $821,123.41 Improvements to the Citys North Pond include floating baffle curtains, floating surface aerators, manual bar screen, inlet pipe modification, yard piping, reinforced concrete, manholes, electrical, mechanical, bypass pumping and appurtenances. Improvements to the Citys South Pond include various dam related modifications. Both sites will include earthwork, soil and erosion sediment control, mobilization, demobilization, bonds, insurance and all other appurtenances necessary to place improvements into operation. Time allotted for completion of work is 250 calendar days. All Work shall be completed in accordance with the plans and specifications. Bids shall be accompanied by a bid bond or certified cashiers check in an amount not less than 10% of the base bid Performance and Payment Bonds, each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract price shall be required of the successful bidder if contract is awarded. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder Biddershallsubmit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documentsto Engineer in writing.
