A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: 1. Remove the existing roof system down to the rigid insulation, as well as the replacement of damaged rigid insulation. System tear-off includes the removal of a single-ply membrane system, leaving insulation for further review and to receive new overlay 2. Installation of new roof systems correlating to the demolition required. Includes the installation of rigid cover-board insulation, full thickness insulation if required by area, single-ply membrane, and all necessary flashings as indicated within the contract documents as well as potential replacement of existing materials where damaged as outlined in the unit cost and contingency allowances.
