Project Description: The project is located in the Central Square branch of the Cambridge Public Library, and it include 1. Level L1.5 Portions of the existing area will be selectively demolished to allow for the renovation to include, but not be limited to: a) An open multipurpose / reception with finished flooring, ceiling, and wall surfaces b) Kitchenette refurbishing with new upper and lower cabinets to include a new sink, plumbing, new faucet, refinished wall surfaces, existing cleaned and polished flooring, new floor transition strip at threshold to multipurpose room, new GWB ceiling. Paint finish ceiling and wall surfaces. c) Existing closet refurbishing with refinished wall surfaces, existing cleaned and polished flooring, new floor transition strip at threshold to multipurpose room, new GWB ceiling with access panel to match existing. Paint finish ceiling and wall surfaces. d) New lighting in room spaces including the entry areas per the Electrical drawings. e) New multipurpose room floor carpet tiles, wall, and ceiling paint finishes where previously paint finished.
