The Work consists of a single contract for the implementation of an erosion and sedimentation control plan; installation of a concrete toe block adjacent to the existing concrete headwall, extending along the shoreline; installation of armor and filter stone along the slope, and restoration of any disturbed areas with topsoil and grass at the Sturgeon Point Water Treatment Plant, Town of Evans. The Project consists of a single contract for construction to restore and protect approximately 490 lineal feet of bluff slope. The work generally includes: 1. Site preparation (clearing, grading). 2. Implement erosion and sediment controls including temporary placement of concrete Jersey Barriers along shoreline, silt fence along top bluff and stabilized gravel construction entrance. 3. Salvaging of existing riprap material to supplement placement of new armor stone revetment (1 - 1.5 tons). 4. Constructing a concrete base leveling layer on the exposed prepared bedrock shale at the elevations shown on the plans. 5. Placing an anchored concrete toe block with reinforcing and stone anchors. 6. Placing filter and armor stone on geotextile fabric. 7. Filling voids under the existing concrete outfall and adding a drainage system. 8. Site restoration with topsoil and grass. B.
