Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Mayfield, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.
Mayfield Electric and Water System (Owner) invites Bidders to submit bids for the construction of the Industrial Drive Substation. The project generally includes the following: o Site work, erosion prevention, installation of substation yard stone, and site chain link fencing o Furnishing material and installing below grade substation facilities including foundations, grounding, conduit/cable, and oil containment system o Installation of Owner Furnished equipment including structural steel, electrical bus/jumpers, power transformers, circuit breakers, and control building o Installation of underground exit duct banks and owner furnished cable. Bidders shall submit one original and one duplicate of Bid per the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, non-responsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids; and to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to that Bidder, whether because the Bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established. Owner also reserves the right to waive all informalities not involving price, time, or other material changes to technical or contractual requirements.
