Demolition and site work for a residential development in Malone, New York. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development.
The project is being bid as a single prime contract: General Construction Scope of the project is to remove and dispose of the existing condemned structures located at the following locations: 14413 State Route 30; 87 Amsden St.; 32 Brewster St.; 251 Park St.; and 253 Park St, all Malone. These buildings vary in size and construction and will need to be demolished completely down to the foundation. An asbestos survey could not be completed, and it should be assumed that building materials are asbestos containing. The demolition of the building shall be completed with all friable asbestos in place per NYS DOL Site-Specific Variances that have been prepared by the engineer. All tipping fees will be paid for by Franklin County. There will be no pre-bid walkthrough. Contractors are advised to visit the site at their convenience to understand full scope of the project. Failure to visit the site will not constitute reason for change orders on visibly evident conditions. Provide the General Construction work in accordance with the Drawings and Specifications as prepared by Aubertine and Currier Architects, 522 Bradley Street, Watertown, New York, for the following stipulated amounts. Submit all questions about the bid documents to Brian Krueger at Aubertine and Currier, 522 Bradley Street, Watertown, New York 13601 by email at bmk@aubertinecurrier.com at least (3) days prior to date for receipt of bids. Replies will be issued to all Plan Holders of Record as Addenda to the Bid Documents and will become a part of the contract. No Bidder shall rely upon any interpretation or correction by any other method. All bids shall be in a Sealed Envelope with the Name and Address of Bidder, Name of Bid Building Demolition Multiple Sites and bid number
