A. The Work of Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following- 1. This project consists of the construction of an 8'-wide concrete walking path in the median of Elysian Fields Avenue. 2. This project consists of the procurement and installation of a variety of trees meeting project specifications, to be planted in locations throughout Orleans Parish as indicated in project drawings. 3. Project includes a one-year establishment and warranty period for each tree, which includes watering and other maintenance as required for tree establishment and good health. 4. During the bidding process, Contractor to visit site and verify site conditions as necessary to execute the Work per the Drawings and the Specifications. 5. Specifications and drawings are being provided for reference; coordinate with Owner Representatives unless otherwise directed. 6. Contractor to verify existing conditions before submitting the bid. Elysian Fields Walking Path CONSTRUCTION DBE OPPORTUNITY: YES (35%) The Bureau of Purchasing uses commodity codes to notify suppliers of the release of a sourcing event and subsequent modifications via addendum.
