Site work for a municipal facility in Draper, Utah. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.

The scope of this project will be to provide all the labor, materials, tools and equipment, insurance, and bonding necessary, but not limited to completing the Sandy City Public Works Phase 2B-1 Utilities Project located at the Public Works Facilities at 8775 S. 700 W. The work includes the installation of sewer, water, and storm drain utilities and the demolition of existing structures necessary to complete the utility installations. All these items are described further in the project plans and specifications. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond payable to Sandy City (OWNER) for five percent of the total bid amount. A copy of the bid bond must be included with your bid submission. Following the bid opening the awarded contractor must provide a hard copy of the bid bond. When the contract is executed, and OWNER receives the performance, payment, and all other required bonds, the bid bond of the successful bidder will be returned. A performance and payment bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the contract amount, with a corporate surety approved by owner, will be required to ensure faithful performance of the contract. The duration of the performance and payment bond shall be one year after the anticipated completion date of the project. After formal award of the project, verification of the bonds, and execution of the agreement, the contractor will then receive the Notice to Proceed, which will establish the date work will begin under the contract. The work on this Project shall commence within 10 days of receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall be completed with 75 calendar days of the commencement of the work. All work stoppages due to inclement weather conditions and other factors must be verified by the Project Manager. Work stoppages due to equipment failure will not be the responsibility of Sandy City. Failure to comply with the project schedule will result in liquidated damages of $400/day for late completion and $200/day for late punch list completion, as specified in the agreement. The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to accept any bid in total or in part unless the offeror clearly states in its bid that acceptance must be on an "all or none" basis, to waive any minor irregularity or technical error in the form of bids or in compliance with the instructions to offeror, and to stop the selection process at any time it is considered to be in the best interests of the City. Any bid containing significant deviations from the specifications of the IFB will be rejected as non-responsive. Offerors claiming minor irregularities or technical errors must assume the burden of identifying them and justifying them to the City in order for the bid to receive consideration.
