PROVIDE STEEL FOR NEW CATENARY STRUCTURE. STEEL PURCHASE FOR PENNDOT DOWNINGTOWN STATION PROJECT, PAOLI/THORNDALE BRANCH The Work of this Contract provides for contractor to fabricate steel and deliver to lay down site (identified on plans) for the Downingtown Train Station Early Action Steel procurement and includes the following: 1. Steel Columns and Beams for proposed OCS structures 2. Miscellaneous Steel at noted on Bill of Materials The work sequence for the project is as follows: 1. Steel Fabrication 2. Survey OCS foundation (Foundation to be installed by October 1, 2024) to finalize fabrication 3. Deliver steel to laydown area at Downingtown as detailed on plans. All questions must be submitted by Tuesday, November 21, 2023, by 2:00 PM to be guaranteed an answer. Any inquiries regarding this bid and any request for change, modification, or clarification of any aspect of these Contract Documents must be made in writing to SEPTA at least eight (8) calendar days prior to bid opening for consideration to be given by SEPTA to affect a change in the Contract Documents. Each bid submitted shall remain firm for at least ninety (90) days from the date of the Bid Opening and may not be withdrawn in whole or in part during that time. By submitting a bid, the bidder certifies that the bid price is held firm for that time and any extension thereof.
