Waste Removal Services for the VDACS Lynchburg Regional Lab All questions pertaining to this Quick Quote opportunity must be e-mailed to: Wendell.powell@vdacs.virginia.gov Purpose: The VA Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (VDACS), an agency of the Commonwealth of Virginia, desires to establish a contract with one vendor for the purpose of removing, hauling and legally disposing of refuse from the VDACS Lynchburg Regional Laboratory . Contract period: One (1) year beginning December 1, 2023 - November 30, 2024, with four (4) optional one-year renewal periods. Scope of Work: 1. The Contractor shall furnish labor, transportation, supervision, insurance, landfill fees, supplies, incidentals and equipment to collect and dispose of refuse generated at the locations listed in section D. 2. Contractor shall furnish and install one aesthetically acceptable container on casters with lock bar at listed location. The Contractor shall maintain the container in good repair at all times. The container shall have side and top loading capabilities and be made of metal construction designed for heavy trash services and to protect the refuse from rodents, animals and wind. The agency reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of containers needed or to change the size of the container. 3. Contractor shall empty the container once a week at the listed location. 4. Contractor shall clean the area around the container whenever trash falls on the ground during the removal process. 5. Vehicle leaks of hydraulic fluid, lubricants, etc., shall be cleaned up immediately by the Contractor. 6. The Contractor shall ensure that all personnel and equipment comply with OSHA, VOSH and all other applicable codes, regulations and standards as they apply to the services performed and not create any hazardous conditions with the equipment used.
