Site work for a water / sewer project in Owasso, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Work includes, but is not limited to, furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, supplies and services for approximately 5,000 lineal feet of cured-in-place pipe lining; protruding lateral removal, 25 sewer manhole rehabilitations; and all associated Work complete in place as shown or specified. Each Bid Must Be Accompanied by a Bid Bond Payable to the Owasso Public Works Authority for Five Percent (5%) of the Total Amount of the Bid. As Soon as the Bid Prices Have Been Compared, the Authority Will Return the Guaranty to All Except the Three Lowest Responsive Responsible Bidders. When the Agreement is Executed, the Guaranty of the Two Remaining Unsuccessful Bidders Will Be Returned. The Guaranty of the Successful Bidder Will Not Be Returned Until the Performance and Statutory Payment Bonds Have Been Executed and Approved, After Which It Will Be Returned. A Certified Check or Bid Bond May Be Used as a Bid Bond. Performance and Statutory Payment Bonds in the Amount of 100 Percent (100%) of the Contract Price, With a Corporate Surety Approved by the Owasso Public Works Authority, Will Be Required for the Faithful Performance of the Contract. Attorneys-in-fact Who Sign the Bid, and Performance and Statutory Payment Bonds Must File With Each Bond a Certified and Effective Dated Copy of Their Power of Attorney. Important: Surety Companies Executing Bonds Must Appear on the Treatury Departments Most Current List and Be Authorized to Transact Business in the State Where the Project is Located All bidders and owners shall comply with the Oklahoma PCBA of 1974. BIDDER agrees that the Work shall be completed under the following contract times: Milestone 1 - Substantial Completion All Work on the Elm Creek Sanitary Sewer Interceptor Rehabilitation shall be substantially completed within 120 calendar days of the Notice-to-Proceed. For this portion of the Work, substantial completion shall be defined as completion of all work including curedin-place pipe lining; manhole lining; including material testing reports and post CIPP closed circuit television inspections. The project shall be considered substantially complete when the post-installation videos have been reviewed and approved by the ENGINEER. Any defects found on the videos must be corrected prior to substantial completion being declared. Milestone 2 - Final Completion All remaining Work shall be completed within 150 calendar days of the Notice-to-Proceed. BIDDER accepts the provisions of the Agreement as to liquidated damages in the event of failure to complete the Work within the times specified above, which shall be stated in the Agreement. To avoid bypassing of raw sewage during construction, the contractor shall use the methods and/or schedule(s) described in these Specifications. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including, without limitation, any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids, and reserves the right to reject the Bid of any Bidder if Owner believes that it would not be in the best interest of the Project to make an award to the Bidder, whether because the bid is not responsive or the Bidder is unqualified or of doubtful financial ability or fails to meet any other pertinent standard or criteria established by the Owner. Owner also reserves the right to waive all information not involving price, time or changes in the Work and to negotiate contract terms with the successful Bidder. Discrepancies between multiplication of units of Work and unit prices will be resolved in favor of unit prices being correct. Discrepancies between the indicated sum of any column of figures and the correct sum thereof will be resolved in favor of the correct sum. Discrepancies between the words and figures will be resolved in favor of the words being correct. Estimate is $500k+ Question Deadline 11/27/2023
