The City of Ottawa, hereinafter referred to as the City, is seeking offers from qualified firms to provide the rental, supply, installation, operation and maintenance of diesel-powered pumps and HDPE piping at the Lemieux Island Water Purification Plant (Lemieux Island), on an as and when requested basis as described in the Annex A, Terms of Reference. Based on design calculations and for evaluation purposes, it is anticipated that four 18" diesel pumps would be required to meet the minimum Pumping Capacity of 160MLD, and five 18" diesel pumps would be required to meet the maximum pumping capacity of 190 MLD.
