Kansas City Area Transportation Authority invites Contractors to respond to this Invitation for Bids for work and services required for the installation of Battery Electric Bus (BEB) charging system on the KCATA complex. Improvements include installation and construction of two (2) BEB chargers into an existing interior parts warehouse energizing three (3) charging, plug-in dispensers suspended within the existing bus charging garage. Chargers and dispensers are being provided as Owner-Furnished, Contractor installed Equipment. Questions (technical, contractual, or administrative) are due November 27th, 2023 at 4PM and must be directed in writing via email to Kristen Emmendorfer at kristene@kcata.org. Questions and requests for clarifications, including requests for approved equals, shall be communicated with this buyer of record. Within the IFB documents, any reference to brand name or manufacturer is for reference only and to assist the bidder in understanding minimum salient characteristics and performance of the product being bid. The successful bidder shall furnish all necessary labor, materials, equipment, supplies, tools, and supervision to accomplish the work called for in the contract in accordance with the plans and documents herein.
