Renovation of a municipal facility in Astoria, Oregon. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
2023 Public Works Equipment Shed Siding and Roofing. Project Substantial Completion shall be May 15, 2024 and Project Final Completion shall be June 5, 2024. Any bids received after the above specified time will not be considered. The carrier, including the United States Postal Service, is considered an agent of the bidder. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check, a cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to at least 5% of the total bid. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The intent of this project is replace the metal roofing and siding on a5,125 square foot equipment building located at 550 30th Street in Astoria, Oregon. The following is a brief summary of the major elements of Work that are to be provided by the Contractor. Remove existing siding, roofing and associated materials Install new watertight corrugated metal siding and roofing with all necessary flashing materials Install new gutters and downspouts Replace 10 deteriorated purlins Questions regarding the project during the bid period shall be submitted to Bo McMahan, City of Astoria via phone at 503-338-5173 or email at bmcmahan@astoria.or.us the contract will be subject to Prevailing Wage Statute ORS 279C.800 to 279C.870. The contract is NOT subject to federal prevailing wage rates under the Davis-Bacon Act (40 U.S.C. 3141 et seq).
