: This project is for demolition of Toll Plazas at MM 197N, 197S, 202, 204, 212, & 217 on I-70 (KTA) associated with the conversion to cashless tolling. Bids will only be accepted by Contractors that are pre-qualified by the Kansas Department of Transportation Proposals must be accompanied by a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of bid and made payable to the Kansas Turnpike Authority as guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract and give a performance bond as required if awarded the contract The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any irregularity therein, to determine which is the lowest responsible bid most suitable to the Authority.
