Renovation of a fire / police facility in Lawrence, Kansas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a fire / police facility.
Project no - 2022-059 Roof replacement of an existing building (Roof of the Fire Training Facility located at 1941 Haskell Avenue, Lawrence, KS 66046) which will be open to the public. The owner will occupy the building and site during roofing operations. Full tear-off and roof replacement of approximately 6,275 square feet of the original building high-bay roof and lower roof of the Fire Training Facility building as indicated within the Drawings. The hose drying tower roof is not included within this project scope. New roof slopes, and insulation thickness shall match existing slopes to maintain existing drainage points as well as perimeter flashing conditions of both roof areas. All questions and clarifications regarding this bid should be submitted only via email and directed to the city's purchasing department at purchasing@lawrenceks.org.The questions deadline is Wednesday, December 22, 2023 - 2:00 p.m. Central Time Zone. All questions will receive an official written response from the city and will become addenda to this Bid. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid bond no less than 5% of the amount of the bid made payable to the City of Lawrence, retained by the City Commission until a contract for the project shall have been awarded. Checks will be returned to the unsuccessful bidders when their bids are rejected.
