Renovation of an educational facility in Salt Lake City, Utah. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Scope of Work: The University Biology Building (#84) is looking to make several HVAC upgrades including modifications to one of its three AHUs (AHU-A) The following contractors were pre-qualified in Step 1 of this procurement. Only these contractors may bid on the project. Archer Mechanical Commercial Mechanical Systems and Service LLC Persons or companies bidding on this project shall hold a current Utah Contractors License covering the type of work to be done and shall be bondable to the amount of the Contract. Contract duration: One Time Purchase Contract renewal: Not Applicable Prices good for: 45 days The University of Utah reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any formality or technicality in any bid in the interest of the University. Q & A deadline: Nov 01, 2023 3:00:00 PM MT The Bid Bond in the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the above bid sum, shall become the property of the University of Utah as liquidated damages for delay and additional expense caused thereby in the event that the contract is not executed and/or acceptable 100% Performance and Payment Bonds are not delivered within the time set forth. Substantial Completion Date December 31, 2024 should I/we be the successful bidder, and agree to pay liquidated damages in the amount of $750.00 per calendar day for each day after expiration of the Contract Time as stated in Article 3 of the Contractors Agreement.
