Water Distribution Improvements GLO CDBG Mitigation Infrastructure Project Bids are invited for several items and quantities of work as follows: Base Bid: Approximately 3,260 LF 12 C900 PVC and approximately 19,725 LF 8-Inch C900 PVC Waterline Replacements Alternate #1: Approximately 22,985 LF 8 C900 PVC Waterline Replacements Alternate #2: Approximately 22,985 LF 8 C906 HDPE Waterline Replacements Bid. A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the bid issued by an acceptable surety shall be submitted with each bid. A certified check or bank draft payable to City of Newton or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (as par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. City of Newton reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding.
